About Me
I’m a proud Nigerian-born, UK-based mum, Psychology graduate, two-time published author, and passionate advocate for women, girls and children with special needs and their families.
My journey has been shaped by love, resilience, and a fierce desire to help others navigate life’s unexpected challenges. As a mother to two incredible children — one of whom lives with Osteogenesis Imperfecta (brittle bone disease) — I understand firsthand the unique pressures, hopes, and triumphs that come with raising a child with special needs.
In 2025, I completed my degree in Psychology at the University of East London, focusing on understanding cultural perceptions of child welfare within Nigerian immigrant communities in the UK. Through research, speaking, workshops, and storytelling, I advocate for stronger, more inclusive support systems for families like mine.
Writing has been my outlet for empowering others. My debut book, “Hey Girl! Amazing Secrets to Making the Most of Your Teenage Years,” is a vibrant guide packed with life-changing advice for young girls. I later published “Raising a Glass Baby – A Self-Care Guide for Parents of Children with Special Needs,” offering practical support and self-care strategies for parents.
Today, I continue blending creativity, psychology, and advocacy — focused on building spaces where people feel seen, supported, and inspired through my podcast – The Marvellous-U Podcast. This is an empowering space for women, girls and parents, including mums raising children with special needs, who want to grow, heal and thrive.
